Northern spotted owls continue to decline by 4% every year (b. cole)

Decades of destructive land management activities have left many wildlife species in our region teetering on the brink of extinction. The Cascadia Wildlands Project works to protect and restore wildlife populations to bring balance back to wild ecosystems. We protect forest habitats, recover endangered and locally-extinct species, and promote policies that prevent future declines in native wildlife populations.

Cascadia Wildlands educates, agitates, and inspires a movement to protect and restore Cascadia's wild ecosystems. We envision vast old-growth forests, rivers full of salmon, wolves howling in the backcountry, and vibrant communities sustained by the unique landscapes of the Cascadia Bioregion. We like it wild.
