Work Wildly

There are so many options for getting your place of business, employer or fellow employees involved in protecting wildlife and wild places. These range from setting up employee contributions via payroll deductions to buying products from the businesses that support us. Cascadia Wildlands also understands the importance of encouraging the right type of economic activity in the right places, and often works closely with businesses that espouse and practice wilderness preservation and enhancement as part of their operations. In this latter arena we explore and pursue cross-marketing and co-branding opportunities that forward our mission and the compatible missions of companies.

Working Wild: If you own or manage a business that subscribes to principles such as conserving biodiversity, healthy ecosystems, and wild places, we urge you to consider becoming a business partner and contributor. There are many options available to partner with us that will both promote your business ethic and help the wildlife and wild places we all hold dear. Please contact Carolyn (carolyn (at) for more details, or click here for examples of partnerships between our organization and other like-minded businesses.
Buy Wild: Our business partners are extraordinary operations – the very type of companies that need and should be supported. Their success will encourage more companies to adopt similar behaviors, so, we urge members of our community to also support our partners! Before you shop, click here for a list of our supporters, and shop with your heart.
Get Wild at Work: Many companies offer workplace-giving programs that can match the donations given by employees. These programs are generally initiated by employees who ask that various nonprofits be included on the list of eligible donors. Please contact Camille (camille (at) for documentation to support your requests.
1% for the Planet: We would also urge companies to join our good friends at 1% for the Planet and formally commit to this donation level for the only planet that we have.  We have received funds through their programs and we respect and support what they are doing.
