On Friday, September 15th, join Eugene’s youth at Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza for the Eugene Climate Strike. This school strike will be one of many occurring around the world as part of Fridays for Future, a global alliance of young people for climate action.
The strike will start at 1:15pm, with students marching across the district from their schools to the plaza. There, students will list their demands for a stable climate and clean and healthy environment, hear from guest speakers, deliver testimonials, and eat together (free food and drinks will be provided).
