Years back, Cascadia Wildlands and partners stopped the logging of this public old-growth forest, known as the Little River Demo timber sale.

The Cascadia Wildlands Endowment Fund was established by a generous donor in 2017 and is a permanent fund that earns money through an investment account with the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF). The annual earnings are returned to us to fund our conservation programs. This return averages between 4-5%. OCF itself is a 501(c)(3) foundation whose goal is to improve the lives of all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. According to the Columbus Survey, OCF, with 2018 assets of $2.3 billion, is the ninth largest community foundation in the United States as ranked by asset size. Investing with OCF gives us a reliable, permanent, Oregon-oriented means of building our organization financially for the future.

How to Contribute

A contribution to our Endowment Fund is made by a direct contribution to us with a note that it is for our endowment. We then contribute your money directly to the Cascadia Wildlands Endowment Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation. The contribution will be deductible on your income tax as a 501(c)(3) charitable donation to Cascadia Wildlands.
