The timber industry is having a bonanza - leveling The timber industry is having a bonanza - leveling massive swaths of fire-burned forests across the state on both private and public land.

Get involved with our movement for forest defense and help us protect our forests from ending up on the back of a train like this.

The City of Eugene has officially walked away from The City of Eugene has officially walked away from negotiations with NW Natural! This a good first step, but we need to do more to phase out fracked gas in Eugene. As a member of the Fossil Free Eugene Coalition, we are specifically pushing them to ban new gas infrastructure as their next step. Join us in speaking at the next City Council meeting!

Volunteers just sent us these devastating images o Volunteers just sent us these devastating images of an @oregon_dot log deck, cut in the lawless post-fire logging bonanza along Highway 126 in the Holiday Farm fire perimeter.

We are speechless.

Burnt trees like these are critical to storing massive amounts of carbon on the landscape, providing habitat for endangered species, and protecting our drinking water sources... but not if they are cut and sold to the highest bidder.

The massive scale and lack of transparency of this roadside clearcutting is a threat to our communities, our drinking water, and our climate. Read more about our stance on post-fire roadside logging on our website. Link in bio ➡️
