Buy any cocktail and a percentage of proceeds will go directly to their organization. 🌲Cascadia Wildlands is a nonprofit conservation organization with a mission to defend and restore Cascadia’s wild ecosystems in the forests, in the courts, and in the streets. Their organization began in 1998 when a group of passionate students and community members decided to take action against rampant clearcutting in Oregon’s Cascades and Coast Range. Since then Cascadia Wildlands has grown into a regional conservation leader. Through grassroots organizing, policy work and litigation, they have protected tens of thousands of acres of wildlands and prevented endangered species from reaching extinction. Fossil Free Eugene is a coalition of local grassroots organizations calling for the end of fracked gas in Eugene. Our demands:
1) Mandate the transition of all utilities in Eugene to 100% renewable energy by 2030
2) Ban the construction of all new fossil fuel infrastructure in Eugene
3) Levy a fee on NW Natural and other climate polluters to create a justice fund to transition low income and historically marginalized communities from fracked gas to electric appliances, and to retrofit these homes to increase efficiency
