Starting in the summer of 2013, Cascadia Wildlands will be working with select community leaders and business owners who are willing to host and sponsor house parties or related events at their homes or places of business. These events will be designed to be fundraisers, awareness raisers and—in true Cascadia Wildlands’ tradition—fun.
Central in this concept is that these events, when they are hosted and organized by volunteers, allow us to raise money and bring people to our shared cause without incurring organizational expenditures. This helps us control administrative costs that lower our organizational efficiency.
