During the COVID-19 pandemic and this time of social distancing, Cascadia Wildlands is still committed to connecting with our community. While we can’t meet in person, connect with us online for WildChats with Cascadia staff, volunteers and allies! This July, join the Cascadia team for campaign deep dives, skill-building workshops and panels featuring experts and stakeholders in our conservation campaigns.

*NOTE* As we shift to focusing our resources into the field for the summer, we will be hosting WildChats less frequently. Consider joining our volunteer team, the WildCATs, for the opportunity to learn more as well as share your skills and knowledge with others too!
July WildChats Calendar
Every Other Tuesday 5-6pm
July 7th: The Fight for Thurston Hills
Join us for a discussion with impacted residents of the Thurston Hills neighborhood about the Bureau of Land Management’s proposed 109-acre clearcut and the work that they’ve been doing to stop it. This proposed clearcut on the edges of Springfield, Oregon will greatly increase fire hazards to the community, and impact recreation opportunities that were planned for this gorgeous piece of forest. > Past Event – View Recording Here!
Each week, Cascadia WildChats will bring unique content featuring hot topics in forest defense, fossil fuel resistance and threatened species protection.
We look forward to continuing to strengthen our community and grow our toolboxes as we navigate these difficult times together.
* *In-Person meetings are canceled until further notice due to COVID-19. However, you can join us for online WildCAT Meetings on Zoom!
